The information you need to provide when using ocean shipping?

Ocean shipping is a little complicated than the other shipping method, for there will be more documents need to provide, here is a brief introduction about the information you may need to provide or confirm when choosing ocean shipping.

 

  1. Confirm the B/L to avoid mistakes, mainly about the consignor’s information and consignee’s information, products name, shipping mark and box number. (consignee from America need to provide email box and fax number.)
  2. Consignee from America, Canada, Mexico and Japan need to confirm AMS information, to make sure there are no errors at all.

Please provide detailed customs broker information.

  1. If the consignee is personal not a company, please provide your local social security number and Passport ID.
  2. If you can’t provide the up-mentioned information, please inform us when placing the order, we will suggest other shipping method for you.
  3. Consignee from America, need to do ISF declaration. We will send the documents to you before shipment, please do the declaration ASAP, otherwise the goods cannot be imported.

Why get insurance?

Insurance is to decrease the losses you may have, once the thing you insured is damaged or lost, you can get compensation from the insurance company. So does the express insurance and ocean shipping insurance. Here is the charge regulation for your reference:

By the way,

Usually it takes 5-7 days for the package to reach you, and if you haven’t received, please contact us within 30 days after getting the tracking number.

And if the goods been tracked in custom, please try to contact with local custom and do the clearance, contact us at the same time. for  if the order can’t be cleared within 30days, it maybe returned or destoryed.then the fee caused by this should be shouldered by customers if we are not informed.

Last, please contact us within 30 days if the order you have received broken during trasaction, otherwise we will not accept the complaint.

How much to pay for Ocean Shipping?

When you pick up the products at your local port, you need to pay the customs for the handling fee, document fee, detention fee etc. You can contact your local forwarder for the details.

 

If the gross weight of your order is above 300kg (Advise more than 500kg) and you do not need the goods urgently, we suggest you ship the goods via ocean shipping. We now offer FREE shipping charge for ocean shipping, we only charge USD160.00 each shipment for the handling fee.  NO shipping cost. You can choose the nearest international sea port and check out the order, we will send you the invoice. Ocean shipping taking about 15~30 working days to arrive at destination port depends on the distance. But to ship by ocean shipping you need to pick up goods from your local sea port and need to do custom clearance and pay some duty etc., as for duty, there are different rules in different Countries, if you want to know detailed information, you’d better check with your agent or local custom.

China Part: send out the order through container to you, free shipping only take USD160 handling fee.

While the order is leaving from China, we will be not in charge of the shipping. But when the order arrives at you, you should do the custom clearance, duties  and VAT payment.. etc, after that, you can ship them to your home. But if you feel this is very complicated, I personally advice you employ one shipping agency to do the custom clearance and some things with port, door to door shipment. If you have familiar shipping agency, you can please tell us when we prepare to send the order out. If you do not have any familiar shipping agency and want us to find one for you, we can do that, but the cost will be quoted, which is not included in the USD160 handling fee. What to do if the courier charge is too much on arrival?

Please note that when the goods coming, tax will occur. But when you found courier(UPS,DHL) charge you too much cost, and not reasonable, such as: agent fee of customs clearance, storage fee, high tax and so on, pls contact us in the first time and do not sign the package first.

When you contact us pls provide the bill details for reference, so that we can check all of charge, if anything is not normal, we will try our best to help you to deduct it.

How to check the goods when received?

All of the items have a sole packing ID number, which match the ID on the packing list and invoice. All of the goods are packed into cartons with packing list in it. Every carton marked with carton number.


So when you receive the goods, first thing please check if all of the cartons are well packed, no damage. If there is any damage please take pictures and send to us at the earliest time, so that if any item missing or damaged we can claim from shipping company.
